After a brief introduction I will suggest a consultation (without obligation), to assess with you whether counselling is your best option. Within this meeting we can also check to see whether you feel comfortable both with the therapeutic process and working together.
With the advantage of working within a large network of supporting colleagues connected within the counselling profession. I would be able if necessary to assist you with referral to other appropriate services if requested.



Confidentiality

The information disclosed within sessions would be kept confidential, However, as required by law there are certain exceptions that would be clarified with you at your first counselling session


Costs

Initial counselling consultation is free and should you choose thereafter to become my client, and take advantage of the quality of service, the costs would be:-

Daytime appointment £40.00
Evening appointment £40.00
Weekend appointment £45.00

I also reserve a few sessions for low cost counselling for those in receipt of benefits or on low incomes and would welcome your interest



Cancellation

I hope you can appreciate my request for 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. I understand there may be times when you need to cancel on the day, however, there will be a cancellation charge if this happens.

If I need to cancel I will also provide you with 24 hours notice. At that time I will then offer you an alternative appointment. If I need to cancel last minute and I am not able to provide you with an alternative session you will not be charged.
